Simulation training is a great way of bringing real cases to life and applying knowledge gained in workshops and training sessions to real scenarios. Using actors and multi-professionals really enriches the learning. This model has been used in health care setting for many years but has not found its way into social care as widely. At the time of publishing, this was the first known demonstration of its use in the social care sector for training advance care planning to care home staff.
